Albert Camus Quotes

Albert Camus (1913–1960) was a French philosopher, novelist, and journalist. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1957, the second-youngest recipient in history. His works are influential. Among his most famous are "The Stranger," "The Plague," and "The Myth of Sisyphus." Camus was born in French Algeria and joined the French Resistance during World War II. His philosophical views contributed to the rise of absurdism. Although some consider him an existentialist, he strongly rejected the label.
