Heraclitus

Heraclitus Quotes

Heraclitus (fl. c. 500 BCE) was a pre-Socratic Greek philosopher from the city of Ephesus. He had a wide-ranging influence on Western philosophy. The central ideas of his philosophy are the unity of opposites and the concept of constant change. He believed the world is in a constant state of flux, always "becoming" but never "being," which he expressed with the saying "everything flows."
