“Folly,” a word as old as time, yet it renews itself with every dawn. It’s not merely a lack of intelligence, but that repetitive choice to continue down a path we know perfectly well leads to the abyss, clinging to outdated ideas, or chasing nonexistent illusions. And worst of all, it’s failing to learn from yesterday’s mistakes and repeating them, as if history itself is nothing but a massive record of humanity's ceaseless follies that have not stopped and will never stop, as if we are condemned to an endless vicious cycle.
