Sarah Louise Delany (1889–1999) was an American educator and civil rights pioneer. Known as Sadie, she was the subject of the oral history biography Having Our Say. This book chronicled her life and her sister Bessie's first 100 years. Sadie was the first African American to teach domestic science at the high-school level in New York City public schools. She became famous late in life with the book's publication.
