William James Quotes

William James (1842–1910) was an influential American philosopher and psychologist. He was the first educator to offer a psychology course in the United States. James is often called the "father of American psychology." He was a leading thinker of the late 19th century. James wrote widely on many topics. His influential books include The Principles of Psychology. Along with Charles Sanders Peirce, he established pragmatism.
